The On Screen Display (OSD) time showing one hour off becomes a headache for some of our customers. In our latest update, we released this function which allows users to sync the iseeBell device time with their mobile phones so that they don't need to manually select a time zone anymore.
So if you don't see this setting from your app, you need to go to the app store or Google Play and update your iseeBell app to the latest version.(iOS 2.1.5 or above; Android 4.1.1 or above).
Here's a simple guide to how to make the OSD right.
Note that only the OWNER of the device is authorized to change such settings in the app.
1. Go to the Live View and select the Gear sign to enter the settings;
2. Select "Device Time Zone";
3. Tap on the "Sync time zone with phone" button to set the OSD time of your iseeBell the same with your phone time.
There are still a couple of words we wanna share:
a. After you select the "Sync time zone with phone" button, you may see a time zone above the button displaying a time zone that is not your current one. Just ignore that, as long as the OSD time is correct, you are all set.
b. If you are the device owner and you are traveling in another state or country which uses a different time zone with your home, you may not want to tap on the "Sync ..." button as it will mess up your device's OSD time.
c. We know this is stupid and we apologize for any inconvenience that brought to you, but we currently don't support the Summer Time and that's why you may not see your time zone. Our developers are working days and nights to solve this problem. We should have an update to ultimately fix it. Thanks for your patience.
