Again, it is totally free to use the iseeBell Wi-Fi Video Doorbell after you purchase the device. With that being said, there's no monthly subscription fee, no system maintenance fee, no customer support fee, no cloud storage fee, which basically means you can use it with peace of mind. However, we recently released a new feature for those users who need another layer of safety - 24/7 Cloud Recording.
24/7 Cloud Recording enables the users to watch an entire video streaming from a certain time point for the past 7 days. Unlike the Ring Cloud Recording (sold separately) service that only records at the ring activities, 24/7 recording will keep your iseeBell device recording non-stop so that no matter it was a motion or ring activity, or you just wanted to go to a certain time point in the last 7 days to watch what was going on, 24/7 recording can totally handle.
How to enable it?
Keep in mind that all new devices come with a 14-day free trial of the 24/7 Recording. To enable the trial, simply go to SETTINGS of the device you want to enable -->CLOUR SERVICE-->24/7 Cloud Recording. No credit card needed.
After the free-trial gets expired, follow the same path to RENEW PLAN.
This optional function costs the customer $5/month per device. And if you prefer, you can subscribe to the annual plan, and that's $50/year per device.
Do I still need the Ring Cloud Recording?
The answer is, it depends.
The 24/7 Recording doesn't include the Ring Recording, which means, by only having the 24/7 Recording doesn't it allow you to directly go to the time point when the ring activity happened. But since your iseeBell were recording the whole time, you can manually go to the time point when the ring activity happened by sliding the time scale in the live view screen.
Can I playback when the motion was detected? And How?
Yes! And here's how:
1. Go to HISTORY on the live view screen;
2. Select one motion event that you wanna playback;
3. Select a motion-triggered snapshot. In the bottom right corner, you should see a "REPLAY" button. Press it to go to the time point when this motion was triggered. (You cannot see the button if you have not subscribed to the 24/7 Cloud Recording Service.)
