If for some reason, you forget your password when login, here's how you should do.
1. Make sure you have the access to your email inbox as that's the only way we can process your password reset request.
If you didn't use a valid email address when signing up (creating your account), meaning you used an email address that you don't have the access to or there was a typo in the email address spelling, you need to REMOVE DEVICE first before logging out, and then sign up a new account in the iseeBell app using a valid email address. If you need extra help, send us an email to email@example.com with your device S/N and your email address on the device.
2. Tap the "Login" button and then "Forgot password". Enter your Email address and tap the "Get Temporary Password" button. You should then get an email containing the link of your temporary password in less than 2 minutes.
If you don't get an email, you probably request a second time too soon or your email spelling is incorrect. Wait a bit longer, double check the email spelling to request again.
3. We recommend you to complete the password reset as soon as you get the email because the link will expire in a short time period for safety purposes. The email should be similar to this：
Tap "here" in the email will open your default web browser where the temporary password will be displayed. Example below:
COMMON ISSUE: "A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded".
If the page won't load when the here link is clicked, here's how you can fix it:
a. Press and hold the here link on your mobile device or right click it on your computer, then COPY link. Open a different web browser, paste the link to the Url blank and load the page.
b. If the first method doesn't work, you need to clear history and website data on your browser and try again. We have listed some common web browsers and related ways of clearing history.
4. Go to your iseeBell app and enter the temporary password you got. You should then be logged in and led to change your password. Your new password should contain at least one upper and lower case letter and one number, and it should be at least 8 characters long.
You will receive another email once the new password is set.
